The game those companies play is by dispiuting the debit. The owner of the debit has 30 days to respond to the credit reporting company or they have to take the debit off your report. They will also challenge debit collection companies right to collect. Because often they don’t get the signature card that opened the account. You can do this stuff yourself 😏

That settlement companies do not help you fix your credit. They take your money they pile your money up. They go out to your creditors and say hey, we wanna offer you a settlement now the thing is settlements do not need to be entertained by the creditors or the Avon collection companies so when they offer the debt settlement and that company rejects it, they just move onto the next company. Meanwhile, that negative score is affecting you in a negative way month after month after month they still collect each monthly payment. Keep it in an escrow account basically until the banks finally decide to settle so if they don’t settle your credit score still takes the hit if you’re gonna work out a settlement deal with a creditor it’s just better to do it with them directly why pay someone else to pay your bills?

All the things they do for you, you can do yourself. It's very simple to view your credit report and make disputes, negotiate the balance, etc.

I respond to debt vals for a living. These companies just send out form letters that are half filled out, don’t waste your money on them.
