you can't be trespassed for no reason in a public government building. recording is a legal right which can be exercised in publicly accessible areas of government buildings.

See Commonwealth v. Bradley (Pa. Superior Court, 2020). This is a state appellate case in another state, Pennsylvania, where a trespassing conviction was upheld. A Pennsylvania auditor filmed inside a police station lobby despite posted “no‑filming” rules and staff warnings. He refused to stop and refused to leave when asked. The court upheld a trespassing conviction, holding that recording in that lobby was not protected under the First Amendment and that the policy was constitutional.
