well, some of us have high functioning ADHD. We're smart but distracted. Adults when I was young said BS like this. I learned how to focus on my own, built a great career and now think telling kids to conform is the worst thing you can do.

staying focus to me is more like enjoying something you really love it be passionate about it like kids playing their video games on the screen that's u have a hard time distracting them because they like it love it find it interesting if you do that focus comes naturally like speed comes naturally after a repetitive motion

I can tell the speaker is new 😳 #1 he’s just a little kid. Of course he’s going to get distracted. You can’t not be distracted. A better answer would’ve been that he needs to literally sit down and meditate. First for 30 seconds to a couple of minutes but the earlier in life, he knows how to focus, calm down his mind, would be a much better answer and a foundation than what the speaker said.
