Or mom's like us who did have a job but have kids.One being special needs who's constantly out of school and can't work because they keep getting calls to pick up their kids while your spouse is working and cannot leave work. Or your spouse works all day and it's summer time so you have no choice because of the cost of day care

Reduce the food stamps to Store brand foods only. And no unhealthy BS. I’m tired of seeing the EBT people pushing around a buggy overflowing with steaks and twinkies. When I work 70+ hours a week and can’t afford that shit!

No food stamps for those who don’t contribute. If you can’t afford 1 kid why do you have 4-5 more. Government assistance gives you free day care, housing, free lunches. You can work while your kids are in school.

Sadly that’s the price some people have to pay for the millions of people who abused the government assistance programs. Be upset at the ones who ruined it for everyone else, not us hard working folks who are tired of everyone getting free handouts for not working and having a bunch of kids.

I’m a single mom of 4 and work full time with rent bills car payment and my Childrens needs, I’m broke after food is expensive and food stamps do help so I’m not sure why people say get your lazy a$$ up and get a job a lot of us do have jobs

Food stamps is still going to be around. Food stamps is getting restricted for certain people who meet the criteria. Too many people using the government and cheating the system. Too many people riding those government feed checks that shouldn’t be.

Foodstamps isn’t getting abolished there’s only changes in who receives foodstamps and there will be cuts to meaning parents are gonna have to start maturing and growing responsibility so they can provide whatever foodstamps doesn’t if the job isn’t financially supporting you then it’s not the job for you end of story

From my understanding, the bill increases work requirements for those able to work W/O dependents, meaning NO KIDS. In addition, the bill requires each state to contribute a portion of the funding to SNAP. It is extremely important to help the needy. That being said, it is also extremely important to stop the abuse of the system meant to permanently entrap the lower class.

No tax on overtime caps at $10k. Everybody celebrating this bill is okay with 63% of nursing home senior citizens losing Medicaid and children going hungry. 10k is their number.
