Itachi just simply doesn’t have the stamina or chakra to outlast Minato. All Minato have to do is teleport and avoid itachi attacks until he overexerts himself and is spent.

Some much to unpack here. I’m not even going to discuss speed. Relative? Sure in base. With FTG it’s not close. Genjutsu? Sure, basic Genjutsu works without eye contact, but are they relevant? Can you prove that Itachi’s basic Genjutsu would even work? Next is eye contact. Can we assume Minato was looking Obito in the eye? Sure, you can assume. It’s “fair” to do so, but you can’t guarantee it. Tsukuyomi would certainly work if he could land it. Amaterasu? Largely irrelevant with Minato’s reaction time & FTG. Even Susano’o is largely mitigated by FTG. Itachi pops it, Minato ports to safety & lets Itachi eat the massive chakra tax it imposes. Which brings me to the next point, chakra reserves. Itachi doesn’t have nearly the chakra capacity that Minato does. A single Amaterasu & a Tsukuyomi were enough to significantly drain him. So we know he can’t afford to use either liberally & we know Susano’o itself is also very draining. FTG is also a very viable option for Sage Mode. Regardless of what Minato says, he’s still a perfect sage & could hypothetically FTG away to safety, gather nature energy, & return to combat to employ it. People overhype Totsuka Blade, imo. Yes, it’s a one hit kill to essentially anything with a soul, but for your standard human beings like these two, so is a kunai to the throat. In a battle like this, almost anything CAN be lethal. I think Minato wins more than he loses. 7/10 matches.

The Raikage was able to dodge Amaterasu — Itachi’s Black Flames — and Minato is confirmed to be even faster than the Raikage. That means Minato could also dodge Amaterasu. On top of that, Minato has the Reaper Death Seal, which he could use if needed, and that would be game over for Itachi. And if you throw in KCM (Kurama Chakra Mode), it’s not even close — Minato takes the win

Minato and Itachi are NOT relative in speed. Even using ur example Naruto barely made it past the Raikage but Minato dumped all over both A and B no problem 😭.

yeah I like both characters but yeah he does win lots more hacks and his speed is relative to Minato so he can't blitz him on the real problem will be the yata mirror which is unable to get around

My argument is, itachi was afraid of tobi during the massacre of the uchiha, minato slammed tobi like it was nothing while defending konoha from kurama. Itachi is one of the best characters in the show but his glaze is wild. We re talking about the only guy who had “flee insight” from other villages.

I disagree with that but I'm not saying that Itachi would win. it would be like 50/50 and depend on a lot of things. Minato is really too fast and outspeed lot of Itachi's techniques. even the Sharingan could be no problem because Minato do not fight eye to eye (more with kunai and teleport) and maybe he's smart enough to get around yata. but if he get caught Itachi gets him. I would bet 51/49 to Minato.

Ima have to go with Minato yes Minato is not faster than Itachi but were forgetting one thing Kcm2 Minato in this form Minato is completely faster than Itachi but Genjutsu Genjutsu don't work on tailed beasts at long that it far compeat with there power to be able to withstand a tailed beast the Sushano kcm2 Minato have charkra kurama so he can pretty much out match Itachi

Itachi can’t lose because in reanimation form he will replenish more chakra then he uses for susanoo therefore Minato can’t hit him and even if he could there both immortal unless Minato’s sage chakra can destroy reanimations but I don’t think it can
