God. when will my 4year son talk, I felt bad yesterday when they were doing their sch party, he was isolated because he was not speaking he wanted to joined them but he was not speaking just shouting for his voice to be heard 😭😭

I remember this moment wen my son spoke his first words after being nonverbal for 4in half years he now speaks more it’s such a heartwarming experience to hear our child speak don’t give up momma 💙

I work with special needs, and this is my very first year. I have one student I’ve been privelaged to work with. I started counting with him and doing abc’s. The other kids will verbalize, but he wouldn’t until one day… it just clicked. I found he wanted to stand in front of the class for the pledge and our school pledge, and once he did that for us, he opened up. He started counting as I called out the numbers, so I worked on “popping his bubble”… I got him to also count in front of other staff members as well, to gain confidence. Well, he babbles a lot now, and I’m so excited as he figures out his voice and continues learning!
