Genuinely a terrifying concept that if it literally boils the water around it (as said in descriptions) then it literally discharges trillions of jewels worth of electricity. I expect no less from one of the goats of MH but at the same time I’m surprised that it can afford to do that.

Love everything about this but in monster hunter it states that lagi stores and releases electricity from the shock spikes, it generates electricity from muscle contractions in the body then sends that electricity to its spine and spikes, although I don't know specifically what muscle do this.

I still don't get the lightning power. Iirc in your rey dau video he has actual electric organs so why can lagiacrus output more? And just because boils water in a small area around him? It sounds disproportionate to what he can actually do

i like how extreme the electricity output of lagi is but thats just like a crazy fact in the monster hunter world that seems entirely possible when we have crazy stuff like tardigrates being able to survive in space or ants lifting x 50 their weights
