2 methods. one is to wrap an aluminium foil around the top part of the banana. the other is you can break the bananas apart-they will stay fresher longer.

Why not used wet cotton wool and place with cling wrap !? Wet tissues has chemical content ( kill bacteria 🦠)

How about just separate them from each other then refrigerate? That's what I do and it helps.

Even Cling Wrap works great as long as the stem is covered properly and no air goes in
