Socialism. is not about funneling money to the poor, its about providing better service to the tax payers (workers). The rich dont pay taxes, its the middle class. Today the US only use socialism for the rich, Elon Musk receive the biggest subsidy for his company spacex, Trump gave subsidies for the farmers they have got about 109 billion, the car industry Tesla, Ford, GM, the biggest players of the Electronic industry etc all of them get subsidies even when they make billions in profits and dont pay taxes🙃

Okay, but we can't also incentivize endless growth either. That's how we got in this mess in the first place. Democratic Socialism doesn't say "nobody can be rich". It says your work should be fairly compensated based on the value you bring to society. Billionaires don't add value - they extract it from society. With Democratic Socialism, a doctor is (realistically) still gonna make more money than a taxi driver, but that driver still deserves a (comfortable) living wage.

They're not taking everybody's money. The very wealthy will pay up to $2000 more. Two thousand dollars more in taxes. There's no reason to be quite this dramatic about something you're not understanding. Maybe educate yourself?
