@principlesparenting: Cocomelon and things like it are hijacking your kids attention span and future love of learning. Billions are being poured into algorithms created by engineers who’s mission is to get paid for feeding your kids sleep. We need to give our kids sovereignty and freedom to pursue their own interests. But giving them unfettered access to content isn’t the way. It makes future education and learning boring. Brain rot is real. Parental controls are one way. The other is uploading content on a device that they get access to. Documentaries. Slow moving cartoons imitating real dialogue and stories.
