YOU CAN FEEL IT IN THE SILENCE by @Emily Myers || Author is a standalone small town romance following April and Emmett. She restores old, abandoned properties, and her work is her solace since losing her hearing. Emmett is the farmer next door who helps April renovate an historic inn, and perhaps this is the opportunity for both of them to explore a new start with a person that sees, hears and understands them like none other. I am currently reading this baby (about halfway through) and am especially adoring the two main characters, April and Emmett. Because April is deaf, these two have their own little ways of communicating that go beyond words: letters, messages, gestures. It's all so incredibly sweet, touching and romantic. I am also enjoying the atmosphere of the town of Magnolia. I haven't watched Gilmore Girls, but this one will definitely feel familiar to those who did with its warmth and small town magic.
