Unfortunately, not much has really changed yet. I used to take the free G shuttle from the Aviation/LAX metro station to LAX, and now I take it from the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station. We’re just waiting for 2026, when the LAX Automated People Mover is supposed to launch🚀

i use to ride the Green Line and then hop on the bus line that took us to the terminals to LAX. Did that end?

Taking the Metrolink train! All the way to union station and that leads to LAX it’s super fast, paying less than $80

I was so optimistic but the little shuttle bus that only picks up 20 people and only comes like every 20 min to get to the station was worse than even the uber situation. Doesn’t make sense until the people mover opens. I also used the Redondo station which was in complete disrepair and doesn’t have a down escalator which is rough with luggage

They act like this is some big achievement. I ask anyone to look at how long it takes to get to LAX using the metro. Make it faster and then I'll consider it. California is the 4th biggest economy and we are celebrating something that should have been available 10 years ago.

Yeah but you still have to get on a bus to get into the airport and if the streets are jammed like they always are you can spend 40 minutes on the bus going less than a mile.

Flyaway bus is a great option too. If you go to Union station or Valley just for $10 dollars. I used to pay $84-90 for uber, now I pay $20-22 ($10 for the bus, $12 for the uber from Union station to my apartment). The bus doesn’t run between 1:30am-5am
