The real problem here is that the police were called for a welfare check and ended up killing the person that they were supposed to check on. They knew he had a knife and was mentally ill and were not prepared to deal the situation when they knew exactly the details of the situation. How can a family member trust calling the police when this is the result?

This could have been done a different way. They already was told that he had a mental problem they could have tased him to stop him from coming towards them with a knife you are cops. I don’t feel that you are threatening 20 rounds is obsessive force this needs to stop. This is like cops can do what they wanna do and get away with it. This is wrong.
