Even after the case ended, my ex continued to harass me — calling, texting, and threatening me. Despite multiple reports to police and pleas to the court for help, nothing was done to protect me. One night, after drinking heavily to numb the stress and pain, I snapped. In a drunken blackout, overwhelmed with anger and despair after receiving harassing texts from my ex, I made a terrible decision: I stole a semi-truck and crashed it into her house..........
