OK, so here's how it works. The containers are emptied by second-hand stores and the items are sold by them. In exchange, they donate money to the Red Cross, which can do much more good with cash rather than used clothes.

Come on people, do we really have to explain this....fine ok you donate clothes red cross picks it up then resales to whomever in large batches and the funds are then used on lavish items and vacations by board members. It's simple.
