Some Afro Brazilians returned to Africa as well and most settled in Lagos, I descend from them and we’re called Aguda :) they preserved a lot of the culture in Brazil but also brought some things with them to Nigeria like cassava so we have a lot of food in common

So much of Brazilian culture is heavily influenced from old African regions, not only food but also music, beliefs, even words! The reason why Brazil is amazing is because of the strong African and Indigenous influence 💗
