Just me :
Many of the root causes of obesity are often poverty, trauma and disability. Then there's also lack of education, lack of access to good food, being time poor and having a sedentary job. If the Government did a better job in the first place of meeting people's basic needs then that would have a bigger, better and healthier impact on health and wellbeing, much more so than weight loss jabs. Maslow was onto something.

Obesity: •Lack of physical education in schools •Lack of food education •Fresh food is expensive while processed food is cheaper alternative. •Fast food shops are no longer a treat. •Families having to work longer to cover bills leading to more fast food meals.

You look round a supermarket today and everything bar the vegetables has sugar in it. Unless and until he speaks to food manufacturers about their ultra processed food that's on the shelves then these measures are just going to be short term. We can only eat what's available and what's affordable. It's the food that's the problem. No disrespect to anyone that feels these weight loss medications are a good option for them.
