we use to do that on the big rigs all the time helps lubricator the pump just need to stran it first be cause oil has metal in it

Years ago working at a fleet shop we had a filter system to filter used oil and it went into the fuel tanks. If you have older diesel engines it works great. Not so much on the new trucks with exhaust after treatment systems.

if you need heat or would like heat in your garage or an out building you can build a used oil furnace real cheap and put it in that .

I had maybe a quarter gallon of gas in an old jug and when I was filling up my excavator, I just went ahead and poured diesel on top of it. I put about 20 gallons of diesel to a quarter gallon of gasoline and my shit run like absolute Dookieuntil all that fuel was out so I definitely wouldn’t put gas in it at all.

It's been referred to as black diesel. Yes older diesels will run fine with it, but I wouldn't recommend it for newer engines.

55 gallon barrel what I use for used oil. Then I call local shops that burn it for winter heat. Might be an idea just sayin.

Wintertime fill one tank up with oil, diesel mix and the other with diesel fuel its like the old tractors start on gas then switch over to diesel, but you have to get it up to temp before running the diesel oil mix but I did that with a 89 7.3 idi like 15 years ago

I ran it in the winter in Laramie Wyoming and never used my block heater. Didn’t hurt the motor at all
