I know a lot of ppl dislike Modern bc of the Modern Horizons sets basically making it a rotating format, but modern is actually pretty diverse rn. A lot of the decks do cost a pretty penny but there are some decks like Belcher or Ruby Storm you can build for about $200 if you substitute some cards

Judge tower, legacy or vintage. If I have nothing else to do or it’s a fun event I’ll play modern but commander has been a trash formats for far too long for me to get back into it
