My toddler loves splash pad days but I can only imagine the chaos and overstimulation these teachers endure. As a daycare parent I have so much respect and admiration for my child’s teachers.

We have Parents send their kids already in their swim suits, sun screen applied and ready to go. Then when it’s time to change them, the tablet comes out for them to watch something for the next 15-20 mins and they sit in their towel until they’re called to get changed. That’s the only way!

I love that my center would do this as a field day to end the day so hahaha yeah fun, parents come join, wooo, okay now take your kids home. It’s the end of the day but thanks for coming! 😂 We’d take them in to get the kids stuff but they’re with the parents now, we’re not responsible.
