The reason it’s yelling at you whenever you start it is those old trucks at that size have air brakes, not hydraulic brakes. It beeps until it’s at optimal air pressure in the air tanks. Give it about 30 minutes and if the beeping does not stop, you have an air problem.

2 speed split shift. start out 1 button in down position low push clutch in pull switch up high shift 2 button down low clutch pull switch up 2 high and do this per shift till 5

That looks like air brakes. You have to build air to get them released. The beeping sound should go away when it’s built air.

Just had the same issue with an identical truck with the brakes. Wouldnt release so i forced it to move from sitting a few years and they immediately released and worked properly👍🏽 give it a shot.

I have the same truck. that split diff doesn't have a neutral. however, it can get stuck when shifting and slip into a no-man's land of gear noises and be effectively in neutral. without a load in the back, drive it in High gear. remember, that Eaton 5 speed does NOT have a synchronized first gear. you cannot down shift into first when the wheels are rolling.

Just letting u no with the truck tyres be careful they are spider rims when u take those tyres off back out the bolt a little bit not all the way and hit the cleat

you can use dot 4 where it's says dot 3 but not dot 3 where it says dot 4 it's backwards compatible so your good to use regular dot 4 brake fluid

the 2 speed switch is air actuated it acts as a high and low, when it's down it's in low range, and up is high range. I have the same style international at work.

good idea to leave the door open when starting it. don't know if the brakes will hold and you have to jump out lol

Maybe hire a mobile truck mechanic to refurbish the brake system first and he can put it to DOT spec, plus brakes are critical if you don’t know the specifics… shouldn’t cost much… 🤔👌🏼
