@dr.mariaingalla: Replying to @Tracy Faye this is such a good question! We will need care more than ever, but many facilities will take on a mass deficit of now caring for uninsured and without the Medicaid reimbursement for those folks and cuts in grants/funding.. they lose the ability to staff and therefore the quality of care sinks #medicaid #healthcareworker #nursingtiktok #hospitaltiktoks #cmhc #therapistsoftiktok❤️ #pmhnp #fyp
Working in long-term care a lot of ppl have medicaid. I'm extremely scared for what this will look like.

Health care is one of the highest profit businesses in America! They don’t need federal funds! If thymey can’t fund staff it’s because they are greedy not cause they are losing fed. Funds.

It's only cutting Medicaid for those that are able to work and choose not to. it's not going to cut Medicaid for those who are sick ; the elderly children, those with disabilities etc. The Democrats have lied about this to make people scared, but it's not the truth. It will cut it for illegal people who do not belong in our country And it will cut it for those who are able to work and choose not to.

Why does everyone think Medicaid is being cut? There are cutting off the fraudulent people who can work and abusing Medicaid. This will not affect nurses or doctors. This is the same BS about everyone is saying that tariffs will cause inflation and it actually dropped inflation.

And as a result, hospitals/clinics will raise costs of healthcare for insured patients to offset the loss of Medicaid reimbursements which will drive up the cost of premiums for those with private health insurance

Do you think it’s right I pay 1200.$ a month for my family for ins. and someone who does the minimum gets better care than my family. Who do you think pays for that. We need a redo of this healthcare.

Rural hospitals will struggle to stay open. When staff quits they may not be able to afford to replace them.

Not entirely true. Some health systems don’t accept Medicaid patients and don’t rely on Medicaid funding. They will continue without a problem.

We won't need as many nurses because we won't have able bodied people clogging up the wait times because they just need attention because they don't want to be an adult. Let's go Trump!!!

Residency programs are mostly funded by medicare & medicaid. Those physician trainees are cheap labor for hospitals. We are going to lose so many hospitals.

Since health corporations aren’t going to cut their profits the first to go will be nurses. Nurses are billed for like supplies. When costs go up supplies are cut.

Mediciad historical pays very low rates to providers which has kept the Healthcare system very poor. There may be opportunities for employee plans to gain more access to care and the system/providers will get better payments. It will be interesting to see what the long term effects are
