Love the JFK peach comparison. Does everyone know that 16 Republican House reps signed a letter about how much they hated the bill the 1st time they pushed it through to the senate. The republican senators made it worse but those same 16 voted yes the 2nd time. Wtf They literally passed a law that will create a private fascist army (ice) that has a budget more than any other country’s general military budget. Cbs news and many other outlets report based on federal statistics show nearly half — or 47% — of those currently detained by ICE lack a criminal record and fewer than 30% have been convicted of crimes. This is out of 59000 - 69000 detained and deported.

I wish I'd taken a pictures but this morning in my home town's 4th parade had both county democrat and republican representation. The democrats came first, cheering, passing out candy...hell our GOVERNOR walked in our parade cuz it's HER hometown too (I got to give her a high five it was epic)...there were at LEAST 20 people representing. Then...there came the republican group. 4 people holding a sign and an American flag. No smiles, no cheers, no waving, no candy. Just...there. It's almost like they were embarrassed to show up and represent their party on this particular event...who'd-a thunk it? 🤣🤣🤣
