Sure, but we have developed past that and can live without meat

And they lived... to 40. They also had no electricity. Or calculus. Or basic amenities. What a dumb argument. Science has enabled us to be vegan.

And there is no great ancient civilization with slavery. Yet today slavery is strictly against our moral compass

I feel like growing, murdering and consuming animals will be the future shit stain on humanity, like slavery is today.

It’s almost as if in the past humans did not have much access to enough plants for our needs so it’s almost as if we had to evolve to eat animals and now it’s almost if we now have overwhelming resources of plants to fill our needs

yes before, but now you can simply take some b12 supplements (and if you want, not necessary though, Omega 3 from algae). You don't have to be scared because it is "not natural", you might eat honey which were made (from their mouth) by bees. And b12 is the safest. If you eat less meat or become vegetarian, you still need b12 (in fact even some people need to take b12 even though they still eat meat in good amount). It is killing unnecessary and animals in farms don't live their best life either

Sure, but they didn't have slaughterhouses, did it out of necessity, rarely ate meat and used every part of the animal.

all the mad vegans in the comments 😭 we definitely eat too much meat, but we need some to survive, as few of the amino acids that we require to function only exist in animal proteins

what is your point? do you see people in history as some example we should follow? or should we be evolving as a species, technologically and morally?

Heres the thing, the people in the past didnt have giant animal farms that made it a living hell for them to live in while they developed enough to be eaten, there is not a single problem to meat if it is eaten from a farm that doesn't abuse their animals, but those are few and far between

they didn't exactly have the luxury of not doing it.
they were also more in-tune with nature (no factory farms) and weren't in the midst of a climate crisis.

Did any other animal ever care about how harmful their diet is towards other animals🤔🤔🤔. Did any animal in the course of history change it's diet knowing it completely malnourishes them and weakens their body🤔🤔🤔.

Not like they had a choice. When people did eventually have a choice they did. Over 2 millenia ago the Jains started to follow a vegetarian diet.
