BEFORE i give comfort: General Wrap-Up. I know this is a scary time. Millions of Americans are losing so much from this bill from healthcare, to college, to financial freedom. And my heart is with you and supporting you during this time. You are strong. You will get through this. To those who make it through this, create community and help support your struggling neighbors. COMFORT: MANY of this bill, including the cuts to Medicaid and Medicare do not start until 2026/2027. You have time to at least ATTEMPT and get yourself the support you need now and potentially in the future. Secondly, this bill CAN be undone, as long as we have the right people in the house and in the senate by the end of Trump’s term. Judging by the growing public hatred of the CURRENT Republican party and Trump’s administration, it is looking less and less likely as he further tries to ruin this country. States are also slowly, but surely, electing more left-leaning Democratic politicians (Mumdani in NY for instance winning over Cuomo or Wisconsin becoming a lot more blue on the state level and protecting its citizens rights like abortion). When the pendulum swings right, it will always swing back left just as hard. The time will come, but it is solely up to everyday citizens like me and you. Talk wherever and whenever you can about politics. You may not change someone’s mind, your goal shouldn’t be to try to, but talking to people about it. you might end up opening the doors for them to learn themselves💙💙
