Can anyone tell me if being medicated is worth it? Like is it almost a magic cure and you will be "normal" for want a better word or does it just give you headspace to focus? I'm deciding whether I want to try medication and I'm a bit worried it won't actually stop the thoughts and impulses but just make it feel like I'm high so it doesn't bother me as much if that makes any sense? 😂

my wife tricks me into doing something by making the alternative really painful. did you want to wash all the windows...or dust the house. yeah I'll dust, did you want to dust or hoover and mop, hoover and mop thanks. I know she's doing it, but it still works

you can, in fact, do it with circular saws too. I literally built my construction business by learning from YouTube. haha I also did electrical and hey I'm still here! 😂

saw the price of a reclaimed door for the outhouse, refused to pay it, woke up at 2am & knew exactly how to make it for less than £20, made it the next day. ADHD is an absolute hell to live but sometimes I can do things like that.

I tore a disc in my spine trying to distract myself from going to work when I was in a mood, so decided to deep clean the lounge room at 6am, leg pressed a book heft full of books across the room. Didn’t want to remove the books first. Sigh.

My son came back from baseball camp and was frustrated that his gear bag was dragging on his tire. Instead of tightening the straps to lift the bag and be slightly uncomfortable with the tightness, he found scrap wood and an old stroller and built a trailer that attached to his bike to carry his gear for him. 🫣
