 Turmeric Chicken & Rice with Butternut Squash 🍗🍚 Ingredients:
• 4–6 chicken thighs
• ½ tsp each: turmeric, red pepper, allspice, salt
• 2 cups rice
• 3 cups water or broth
• 1 shallot, sliced
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 cups butternut squash, diced Instructions: 1. Season chicken thighs with turmeric, red pepper, allspice, and salt. 2. Heat a large pan, place chicken skin-side down, and sear for 4–5 minutes per side (covered). Remove and set aside. 3. In the same pan, sauté shallots and garlic until fragrant. 4. Add butternut squash and cook for 3–4 minutes. 5. Stir in rice, ½ tsp turmeric, salt, pepper, and broth. 6. Nestle the chicken back in, cover, and cook on low for 20 minutes. Top with a turmeric jelly stick or stir a liquid stick into the rice for an extra anti-inflammatory kick. Let food be your wellness ritual 💛
