My dad had the privilege of having lunch at Walt’s house as a teenager, and he was every bit as kind and warm as you’d expect. The Walt you see in the old Disney footage isn’t too far off from Walt in his private life. If he’d been alive now, the parks would never have been allowed to become so unaffordable to people. They were meant for everyone, not just those with the money to spend.

if i could say anything to Walt Disney, I'd say, "Thank you." I wouldn't ask for anything. I wouldn't say come back. I would simply just say thank you. Because he's brought this broken person so much joy. And I am lucky enough to share those feelings with my kids.

It is real surreal to go. Also a very short distance from him are the graves of Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor voice of Mickey and Minnie. Probably about 90ft from Walt
