I understand that social cues are even harder for autistic. My daughter is autistic, but social cues in general that is a group of men a group of boys. It’s common in that side of their genetics too. Sounds like a couple of them. Got it though. I love this video, because it shows the normalizing side of autism I seen nothing more than a group of guys missing social cues and maybe that’s because I’m familiar with autism but I hope other people see the same thing

I'm autistic but I don't get this 😅 If someone asks me to go to their place to drink tea, and I don't like tea but I would like to hang out, I would ask if I can have coffee or something else instead of tea 😅

nah but if he takes her up on the tea then she'll think he likes tea but he doesn't. why he didn't just say something along the lines of "not a big fan of tea but I'd like to hang out?"

Unfortunately as someone with autism, if I invited you over for tea.. I am in fact inviting you over for tea so this is valid

No because he’s in the right. You should never expect anything from anyone unless they say it. Expecting intimacy when they didn’t say it is icky. If you want to spend time with me, say that. If you want to be intimate, SAY THAT!!!

Imagine a world we’re we are all autistic and just say what we mean. That would be cool.

A more optimal scripted reply would be: "Would another beverage be an option if I am not a connoisseur or purveyor of tea?"

This is great for someone with autism. It's teaching them. These conversations with our son are funny. There concerns are so valid.
