How many times have you said : “I’m eating healthy, but I’m just not seeing any results!?” I’ve been there, and it sucks, but here’s the truth: the food isn’t your problem, it’s your portion sizes. you may think you know how much food you’re eating, but if you’re not measuring it, you’re probably eating a lot more than you think. Trying to reach your goals without tracking and measuring is like trying to use a GPS when you don’t have a destination. You may be moving, but you’re going nowhere. On the left side, I’m not weighing any food, I’m just eyeballing everything thinking that I’m sticking to the plan but really I’m just stuck because I’m not aware of all these extra calories that I’m eating. On the right side, I’m weighing my oatmeal, my fruit, and even my coffee creamer & the scale is going down every week because I KNOW that I am sticking to the plan. (YES, you should even be measuring your creamer, dressings, and sauces) What isn’t measured isn’t managed. Measuring your food is NOT “disordered eating” - it’s awareness! If your goal is weight loss, you have to be precise with your portions. Those seemingly “small” miscalculations add up quickly. ✨awareness = control : measuring your food keeps you in control without the guess work. ✨it’s not restriction, it’s knowledge : when you have all the data and know exactly what is going in your body, it allows you to make better choices and get results quicker. ✨consistency is key : the more consistent you are with your food, the more consistent your results will be. I get it, weighing your food is not sexy or fun, but what if it is the only thing standing in between you and your dream body? Are you ready to stop spinning your wheels & start seeing real progress?
