@naaackers: Still emailing yourself files? Seriously, stop. There are way better ways to send files from your phone to your computer without using the cloud. Most people think of AirDrop or Google Drive, but those come with limitations—especially if you’re not fully locked into one ecosystem. Plus, cloud services can be slow or eat up your storage. Apps like LocalSend, SnapDrop, and SyncThing let you send files directly over your local network. No internet required, and they’re cross-platform. SnapDrop needs a browser, though, so it’s kind of a no-go for me. My personal favorite is Resilio—formerly BitTorrent Sync. I use it to transfer huge video files, like 50 to 80 gigs, straight from my phone to my NAS or computer at full speed, no cloud involved. There’s also Phone Link, Intel Unison, Blip, even ShareDrop (yes, powered by LimeWire). If you know KDE Connect, you’re already ahead of the game. Let me know in the comments: how do you transfer files? Today’s videos is brought to you by the heart attack given to me by @lindseyszn 😂😂

USB cable, I need to transfer photos from my phone to PC for work everyday. No wifi besides the phone's shared connection. Plus it helps keep the phone charged
