Here's my problem. In the comics, The first Ironheart idolised Tony, Tony is her inspiration for everything that is why she attended MIT and what made her into a hero, even her name is based on Iron Man (Tony Stark). The problem with this show is that they portray Riri as someone who is better than iron-man when in fact they worked together so many times in the comics and have this father daughter bond. the line "Do you think Tony stark would be Tony stark if he wasnt a billionaire" is so contradictic to the comics where Riri Williams was there for Tony when he was BREAKING. Not to mention, Riri Williams in the comics have a HOLOGRAM OF TONY GUIDING HER. and you can see their bond in The Invincible Ironman #3.

I loved the show I was just annoyed she took the deal in the end and didn’t use the suit for good initially but aside from that everything abt her is so badass she’s so smart and realized along the way that it’s okay to get help but she doesn’t have to go to Wakanda or go to Ironman to be able to be great. She can do it on her own and achieve her goals using her own brain and ideas. I also liked they built off real life issues like losing somebody and everything that comes with it. If u look past the comics and her not being just like Tony, it’s a really good and beautiful story w an AMAZING soundtrack and a good story.

Most people who hate Ironheart are OG Marvel Fans. Because she is closer to a villain than a hero- and said Tony Stark wouldn’t be Ironman if he wasn’t a billionaire. He’s a billionaire cause he’s smart- he’s TONY STARK. And in the comics she actually stole her suit from Ironman. She didn’t make it.
