Sorry that happened to you. Honestly both of your hearts were in the right place lol. I remember when I was young some teenagers had given me a stack a tickets before they left. I was so stoked. I had the tickets to buy stuff already, so I was actually able to use my tokens on fun games instead of the gambling ones. 😂

I remember when I was like 6 or so at Cedar Point, I was standing at the counter ready to get whatever with my tickets and this guy walked up behind me and slammed a stack of tickets in front of me and walked out. I was able to get like 5 plushies. One of the most magical moments it felt like.

I give away my winnings to kids too, whether it be tickets or stuffed bears. I always ask the parent, “hey I won this but Instead of keeping it I wanted to give it away, would you like to give it to your son/daughter?” 100x more respectful than approaching a child and offering them something, it also allows the parent to decline if they’re not comfortable with it.
