We didn’t get a flood watch issued before we got the flood warning. They only warned people after it had started flooding.

There were actually 5 warning messages from NWS for the area with the last being before 2AM… I camp a lot in this area. Phone service is terrible because of the hill country SO, you cannot depend on cell service. You need an emergency radio for weather. Our Boy Scout camp up the road has people who stays up at night for things like this. WHY did Camp Mystic, who has 99 years experience, did not have someone up watching. It has been raining for days in the area. They are directly on the river. Rivers flood, especially in the hill country. The missing girls should not be missing.
