What’s sad is those missing girls are most likely not alive. Where I work, we are hosting some families and the girls, the way the explained it. It was dark. Water was rising. These 8-11 years old panicked.

It's so sad that we don't have some kind of weather forecasting system to warn people about events like this. Like maybe we could form a National Weather System or like a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that could provide more timely information so people can evacuate. That could save a lot of lives.

The cabins should of been empty. The girls should have been evaluated as soon as 1st flood warning went out. Camp Mystic has been ther many years& so have floods. I can't stop thinking about the terror thoes sweet little girls went threw in last minutes of life. Camp Mystic has to become a Memorial park. No more camping.

Not true. Those cabins are look inn and bug house. Typically for 3rd/4th year campers. The youngest campers stayed closer to the front in Bubble Inn and Twins 1 and 2. They were situated closest to the commissary, Harrison Hall, and Wreck Hall (where we would usually go in an emergency event)

I hope that the billionaires, Trumps regime and MAGA feel guilty as this could have been prevented if the National weather system not have been cut drastic and if they believed that climate changes is not a scam!! My deepest condolences to the families 😢

Those cabins are actually not in fact the youngest cabins, those are located to the right of this video.

The real tragedy is all of the pets and local animals that didn't make it, I mean just the different species of ants alone makes this a massive tragedy, not to mention the baby birds that were waiting for their mothers to return, I'm just heartbroken 😭

That close to a river known for rising and being deadly and no ladders to the cabin roofs, no moving the cabins farther up after the floods of 1987 there. Did they truly just think thoughts and prayers would keep the campers safe?

I really want to know if the republicans in Congress in the Senate, had of done their jobs and stopped doge would this have happened? Sorry I repeat! I can’t help thinking if they had of stopped trump from allowing doge to defund NOAA would this have happened? People discounted weather forecasts and early warning systems from these agencies in states that will suffer the most.
