you have no clue how many people actually rely on the light rail for school and work. tons of UHD, UH, HCC, and Rice students and people who work in TMC, museums, the zoo, and the theater district heavily use it. on top of that, it's always packed during rodeo season

Nah light rail connects downtown, the museum district, multiple universities, the med center and NRG; headways are fine; price is low; trains are clean; it’s solid

Still waiting on the University Line, if they ever build the Blue, you'd connect Alief/Westchase, Chinatown, Gulfton, The Galleria, and Montrose to the rail system... Whitmire and the rest of the maggots cant let that happen though 😡

I’m a 47 year old, fifth generation and lifelong Houstonian. My ancestors and I have lived here since three 1860s. If you don’t like my city the way you found it, you are free to move back whence you came. We revere our reversal vehicles down here. Houstonians of means would never be caught dead using public transportation.
