@nizamismailsg: Been spending some time in Jogjakarta — a city steeped in history, rich cultural heritage… and as Oniatta and I discovered, a surprising taste for adventure. Oniatta arrived earlier to host an appreciation lunch for her batik craftsmen — a beautiful gesture to honour the hands behind the craft. And of course, she brought along her trusty sky-blue Brompton bicycle (because no other colour would do!). We got another Brompton from the wonderful folks at Bromptmesh Jogjakarta — and off we went on an epic ride through Kulonprogo, along the scenic Jalur Luna Maya (yes, made famous by that Luna Maya). It was a ride through golden padi fields, lush hills, and cool mountain air — perfect terrain for two slightly mad cyclists. And for me — a field day with the drone, capturing Jogja’s natural splendour from the skies.
