The concept was crazy: an Englishman gets kidnapped by the French and taken on a journey across France to experience its football’s diversity. 🎬 We had to shoot everything in Marseille in just three days, so we needed a killer crew :the best of the best. We had Cities to replicate (even London), scenes packed with extras, dogs, stunts involving a kid it was a real challenge. 💯 There was no room for mistakes on this film, where we wanted to mix cinematic references (think Guy Ritchie) with the wild energy of cartoons (like the manga “Olive & Tom”, or “Tex Avery”) to balance humor and emotion in this whirlwind of a 2 minute 30 second film.
