Del Monte in Canada 🇨🇦 has been owned by a French Conglomerate since 2018 Lays in Ontario employs 1000 locals, and uses Ontario potatoes. We're getting most of our produce now from trading partners in Ecuador, Morocco, Peru, South Africa and on and on. Our greenhouse farm companies here are going wild with greens, tomatoes, lettuces. It's really nice buying local.😊 This is due not to US prices but our Canadian boycott of US products. I wasn't sure if regular US Citizens were aware. Not just boycotting vacations to the US , but products.

Let’s stop calling it the big beautiful bill. Please let’s all call it what it is. Trumps 2025 Tax bill. We have to stop allowing them to own every narrative. Then it won’t be so easy for them to blame the Dems for this when we get taxed hard after midterms.

homelessness is criminalized, so all that has to be done is continuing to raise rent, continually allowing corporations, and entities like Black Rock to purchase homes, raise the rent, and now people can't afford rent in a failing, jobless economy. The wealthy now have a system designed to extract work and wealth from citizens, when they need more pslaves/prisoners.

There is a farmworker labor strike coming soon. Not sure if it will only last days, or if it will stretch weeks, so people should prepare for that possible impact if you want to donate to the union you can do so on their website at ufw.org.
