That penalty was crazy… Russell did the same thing in Canada and if I remember correctly Max and Lewis also did the same multiple times in the past after the lights went out on the safety car. I don’t really understand the why of it. Especially after the lights goes out on the safety car the first driver have the right to dictate the rythm of the restart.

(remember this is my opinion and u don’t hafta agree) but oscar asking to swap places is completely unreasonable.. yea he messed up a bit and yes the penalty was too harsh for what he did but in the end it has nothing to do with lando and lando got to the front fair and square. swapping positions would just be unfair to lando. imagine any other driver in lando’s spot and realize that just bc they r on the same team, doesn’t mean they should give oscar the lead back. congrats to both on a 1-2
