judge rob kelly had plenty of time to issue an evacuation order. dan patrick didn’t push him to act. both knew about the flood alert on july 3. they had time to save lives and chose cowardly hesitation. those girls did not have to die.

In Canada, we get text alerts for things that are imminent like forest fires, floods, a lot of which happened during the night. There’s no reason they should not have been alerted other than it was a conscious decision to under fund.
