as a pregnant woman, it is completely normal and okay for her to have a reaction like this. gender disappointment can be a terrible thing for some women. a man honestly shouldn’t even be giving his opinion on a topic he’ll never be able to understand. i was devastated when i found out i was having a boy, yes i’ve come to terms with it but i fell into a bout of depression for a week, but it’s harder on other women.
