When i wa young , we stayed at Girl Scout camp in Missouri out in the middle of a literal cow pasture. It started storming and raining , water rushing down the hill into the camp, near by rivers and streams over flowing . They evacuated us and of we had to jump in the back of a truck with a camper top ! Looked like a bunch of hidden humans trying to secretly crossing the boarder from Mexico. The next am, or maybe at most two days later , we were already able to come take down our tents and gather our belongings. All that to say….. we only thought we were in trouble. Despite semi rushing waters, the biggest threat we had was lightening. I bet these girls wish lighterning was their biggest problem. So sad. So much can happen in such a short period of time during a flood. Prayers to the girls and families. 🫶💞🙏🏼

YOU KNOW YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS RIGHT??? Texas would have never been through such a tragedy if you didn’t vote for a man that went and MASSIVELY cut funding for weather services. Why did he cut them? So he can give himself more money. No other reason

NOAA and FEMA were taken down! At this point, any disaster will strike us without preparation, and we will have no support for recovery… as sadly happened in Texas, where no warning alert was issued. 😔 this could be prevented!!!

What’s insane is the people saying that Texas deserved it bc of who we voted on, and saying bad things about those beautiful little girls. Blows my mind how people are. I’ve been praying hard for the families and those girls. I saw they found 2 of them in a tree alive. Don’t know how true that is though🤷🏼♂️praying it is true.
