CHRONICLE LORE: millions of years ago when the planet was still in its early stages of formation, just pure lava everywhere. HUGE crystalinne organisms existed everywhere. they were so huge they used electromagnetism to propell themselves wherever they needed to go. as the earths crust cooled and formed, these organisms were pushed further and further down towards the earths core. in order for these MILLIONS of crystalinne creatures to continue to feed, they must burrow up towards the surface using their electromagnetism. in fact, they are responsible for all alleged UFO and paranormal sightings. once up, they send out a frequency (what our 3 characters heard) that transforms beings into essentially food collecting “drones”, that will eventually die after completing the tasks for these ancient organism. however, the one we see in the film was extremely old and sick, so it couldn’t complete the transformation process on the boys, leaving them with the electromagnetic powers. PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL HOLLYWOOD

this is one of those movies you watch as a kid and you already know youre going to have a hard time finding other fans throughout life. took me many many years to find even one person that knew it. but everyone should see it imo! so good!
