This is exactly how I talk to people who want to have kids. Like why do you want to bring a brand new life into a crumbling world when there are so many displaced children that need a home and family. I’ve found that it’s human pride — they want a little version of themselves.

I always wanted kids. then I got married and quite literally got asked at least 5 times a day if I was "pregnant yet". I'm essentially child free out of spite. 🙃
