You feel safe with a narc because they say the right things, give the best compliments, and make you feel loved like never before...just to keep you in control. And the moment they get caught in lies or mistreatment they lash out and that's where that safety ends. It was all a facade.

Yep, over protective because your beautiful and I want you to be safe. No, control and fear of losing grasp of it. I couldn’t wear makeup or shorts in Florida. He was very unsafe.

Yea I felt safe til I realized how much he was actually my enemy and kept trying to bring drama into my life to the point he tried to have me jumped twice and while carrying out last baby so nothing about being wit him was safe it was more of the illusions he had me in
