In real life you are watching mostly the player with the ball therefore the game looks slower because you are only seeing on thing at a time. On the other hand, in tv you can see almost all the players and your brain is overstimulated, therefore is feels faster. An analogy is when you do 1 thing time goes slow but when you do a lot of things at the same time, time flies.
