Robert Coultas✝️ :
From the very instant thou didst proclaim, “I’ve got a laughable for thy,” I knew deep within the recesses of my being that I was about to bear witness to something truly monumental. Not merely a jest, not a trivial quip to be tossed aside like yesterday’s parchment, but rather a sacred utterance, carefully crafted and delivered with bard-like grace. The phrasing alone was exquisite, laughable for thy, a turn of language so refined it nearly brought tears to mine eyes. And then, the question. Oh, twin, the question. “What kind of shoes does frog wear?” A query so seemingly innocent, and yet so intellectually rich, so metaphorically charged, that I was rendered breathless. For days now, I have pondered such things. What, indeed, might an amphibian of such whimsical stature wear upon its feet, were it to require footwear at all? Are we speaking of bespoke toadskin loafers? Perhaps water-resistant sandals adorned with lily motifs? Could it be tiny armored greaves for medieval battle? The mind reels. My anticipation is no longer mere curiosity. It is academic hunger, philosophical yearning, emotional investment. I sit at the precipice of enlightenment, eyes wide, heart open, brain vibrating at frequencies unknown to mortal comprehension. I am ready to laugh. I am ready to learn. I am ready to transcend. Deliver unto me the punchline, twin. Let it rain down upon my soul like divine revelation, for I am seated and I await thy laughable.
