Its not true. I am from Bulgaria and visit Budva for 3th time and the prices is normal. Im in love with Montenegro and recommend to everyone. Budva and Kotor is a must when you visit Montenegro

I’ve just come back from Montenegro, 9 nights there. All costs including flights and hotels came to less than £1200 for 2. I wouldn’t say that’s expensive…

I live in Montenegro and I completely agree, but this only applies to coastal cities, while in other cities, for example, Podgorica (the capital of Montenegro), everything is three times cheaper.

I am Croatian and I was buying croatian cookies last few years in Montenegro during vacation because they were much cheaper here. I almost had a heart attack when I saw that the price is the same as in Croatia. I usually bought almost 2 boxes for the price in Croatia🥲. Now will need to stock up in Croatia since I live where we don't have them🥲

Just came back from there - everything has a price in there - no free car parking, no free beaches, want to cross the pedestrian bridge in canyon? It is 2€ now. Want to come on top of the mountain by foot? 8€ per person. Want to enter beach? 5€ for that. Felt like every step had a price in there, crazy. We got stopped even in the middle of nowhere by some guy - we needed to pay 10€ each otherwise he it would be "illegal" to ride further, wth? In one regular beach, not fancy or anything, just a regular beach - we had to pay for sunbeds 20eu, and we wanted to use umbrella to cover ourselves from sun - turns out umbrella opening has its own cost, needed to pay 5€ more. At this moment it is absolutely ridiculous.
