No British bias, 10 sec stop and go. Safetycar infringements are always 10 sec stop and go. Look at hedly and marinangeli innthe f3 race the same day

It was the weather that contributed to the 10 sec penalty, very dangerous

He did not get robbed. He earned the penalty. Lando would have caught Oscar even without the penalty. Lando raced smart and won.

Mugello 2020, pile up because of almost this exact same scenario on a restart.

Im sorry but that was a dangerous move. Visibility was already bad. You can see the onboards and see all the spray. He almost caused others to pile up and crash behind him. Even Nico mentioned in the cooldown room.

Hadjar crashed because he couldn’t see the car in front of him through the spray and people are saying this was harsh when the entire grid got brake checked and Max had to take avoid him. Sure, less spray, but still unsafe in those conditions

The penalty was valid, the only argument is that it should’ve been 5 seconds but that still puts Lando ahead and he was going faster in the last stint. He won by over 6 seconds

what are you on about, have you watched F1 for more than 5 minutes, given the conditions it was really dangerous, that was not warming his brakes he was messing with Max, it impacted the whole pack as commented by Nico

Underserved!?!? Mate he used an excessive amount of brake force in rainy conditions after the safety car lights went out (a more restrictive set of rules about erratic driving behavior applied) AND hai sudden brake check caused the entire line to bunch up to avoid any collisions as the ENTIRE race line had to adjust for his heavy brake. Russel’s case in Canada, the lights were still on (different set of rules when they’re off) and he used significantly less brake pressure/while also slowing down with less of a speed gap than Piastri. It was more than deserved for such a risky maneuver.

With the rain, visibility, it was lucky that max didn’t end up under him and out of the race. I love you guys but you guys are wrong on this one.

This may be a bad take but I believe the penalty he got was valid but it looks worse cause Russel deserved that exact same penalty in Canada but didn’t get it. Mind you I’m rooting for piastri over lando too.

He got caught out, not robbed. He has no one to blame but himself. He played the game, tried to "trick" Verstappen and it didn't work. Boom! penalty.
